Holes 13–18
Formats & how scoring works
Each foursome plays three separate mini-matches: 6 holes each, or 3 holes at Back Yard. Record the winner of the mini-match—not each hole.
Play match play: the lower counting score wins the hole; tied holes are halved. Whoever wins more holes wins that mini-match. Start the next mini-match all square.
A win earns 1 point; a tie earns ½ point per team. The final Valley mini-match (holes 13–18) is worth double: 2 points for a win or 1 each for a tie.
26 points available. 13½ wins; 13–13 is a tie. Unrecorded matches count as neither a win nor a tie.
Shamble: both tee off, choose the best drive, then play your own ball. The better score counts. Greensomes: both tee off and choose a drive. The player whose drive was not chosen hits next, then alternate shots. Scramble: both hit each shot, then choose the best ball each time. Betterball: each plays their own ball; use the lower handicap-adjusted score as agreed by the group.
Agree any handicaps before play; this card records the mini-match result you decide.
Groups & partner rotation
Number each team’s players 1–4. The first three rounds give everyone each teammate once. Valley repeats the first pairing.
- Ross Bridge: 1 + 2 / 3 + 4
- Back Yard: 1 + 3 / 2 + 4
- Ridge: 1 + 4 / 2 + 3
- Valley: 1 + 2 / 3 + 4
In each group, the same numbered pairing on Team A plays Team B. Keep your player numbers for the whole weekend.
